In one video, V explains that “Wooga” is short for the Korean phrase, “Woori-ga gajok-inga?” which literally means, “Are we family?”. While they aren’t related by blood, they’re as close as real-life brothers. They openly support each other, attend group holidays and fulfil “squadgoals”⁠ – all at the same time.

Park Seo-joon

The A-list squad is spearheaded by actor Park Seo-joon, whose astounding filmography includes Itaewon Class, What's Wrong with Secretary Kim? and Fight for My Way.

Initially, the squad was born when he bonded with singers Park Hyung-sik and V on the set of K-drama Hwarang.

Kim Tae-hyung

Kim Tae-hyung, better known as V, is a vocalist, singer-songwriter, dancer and record producer from the globe-trotting boy band BTS.

At the 2019 Melon Music Awards, Park Seo-joon proudly presented the artist of the year award to the group – and V was so happy that he danced towards his hyung.

Park Hyung-sik

Park Hyung-sik is a multi-talented actor, singer and dancer. His career began as a vocalist of K-pop boy group, ZE:A. Eagle-eyed fans may be familiar with his dramas Suits and Strong Girl Bong-soon.

Choi Woo-shik

Choi Woo-shik was catapulted to stardom through roles in crossover movie smashes Parasite , Train to Busan and Okja. As a testament to their tight bond, V shared a clip of the pair hanging out in California during Parasite’s press tour.

Peakboy

During his first TV appearance on KBS2's Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook, Park Seo-joon, BTS’ V and Choi Woo-shik cheered him on by watching the recording from the waiting room.
